The Basic Stringing class covers all the instructions needed to string and finish necklaces, bracelets or anklets.  You will learn how to string using two different sets of stringing materials.  Also tools, findings, and components will be discussed so that you can design and produce professional looking jewelry.  Additionally, you will learn how to use crimp beads, clam shells and other findings.  You will design and take home two or three bracelets.

(Only one class is necessary)

This class covers the various methods to make dangling earrings that attach to an ear wire or a lever back finding.  You will learn how to create loops.  Some wire work is also discussed.  Includes practical instructions for using jewelry tools.  You will take home 2 or 3 pairs of earrings which you will design and finish.

*MULTI STRAND (LEVEL 2)

                (COME A BIT EARLY TO SELECT YOUR BEADS.)

Projects vary! Choose between a multi-strand necklace 16-18 inches long or a multi-strand bracelet.  Use various findings and learn how to attach multi-strand projects to single strand clasps.  Also covered are design tips  on colors, materials, focal and accent beads.

COME EARLY TO SELECT YOUR BEADS.  THEY ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE CLASS FEE.  KNOWLEDGE OF BASIC STRINGING IS REQUIRED.      

*Kumihimo!  yes, Kumihimo!

WHAT THE HECK IS THIS?  KUMIHIMO is an 8 strand beading technique, done with or without beads, that was originated in Japan.  The technique uses a KUMIHIMO DISK, cord, fiber, beads, etc.  You can make fabulous bracelets, necklaces, belts, etc. You will be astonished at the final product.  Our class will make a bracelet with beads.

*Leather Wrap Bracelet 

Yes, this is it!  We are finally going to do it!  What?  You ask.  We are now offering a class in making a "Chan Luu" (or leather wrap) bracelet.  This class requires beads, leather, beading cord and a button.  All of which you can conveniently purchase here at Beauty and the Bead. In addition you will need to bring a clipboard and 2 heavy duty binder clips.  Sign up now and be a trend-setter.  You'll be the envy of your friends.  (Be careful, or you may wind up in business.)

Cost:  Class fee is $35.00 PLUS materials 

A maximum of 5 adults per class.  All students enjoy a 10% discount for up to 1 week after their class.   The discount may be applied to anything in the store that you may want to purchase, including class materials.
